If you have clicked on the message report in your Outbox and noticed that your delivery status is showing 0, this most likely means that there is a phone carrier delay.
Messages have to go through a few gateways after being sent from our platform and ultimately the delivery is determined by the major phone carrier providers connected to the recipient's phone. For MMS messages especially, there may be a delay of up to 20 minutes when being delivered to over 100 contacts.
Note: This scenario is usually only common during holidays or busy weekends including Fridays. It is important to keep in mind that users may send a large amount of MMS messages for promotional information which can essentially create a slow movement of other messages being processed quickly.
To work around this, we recommend scheduling your messages at an appropriate time that will give your recipients enough time to receive and respond to your message. Or, we recommend sending your message as an SMS message next time in order to avoid this delay.
If you are still experiencing an issue with your delivery that is concerning, please report it by submitting a request.
On the request form here, do the following:
- Choose Support in the drop down menu
- Fill out the appropriate fields that include an "*"
- Under the Problems you are having field, select Messages > Sending > Delivery Report Issues
- After the form is completed, click submit and we will investigate further
