How to Write Messages
First, go to New Message on the left panel. There are four primary steps of composing a new text message within EZ Texting:
1. Choose Recipients
2. Add a Name or Company Name in the Subject line
3. Write a Message
4. Schedule Delivery or Send Now
(It's worth noting that your EZ Texting account allows you to do so much more, but here we're only covering the basics.)
Please note: If you were assigned a toll-free number instead of a short code number during sign up, the same settings will apply to the toll-free number as it would apply to a short code number. Textable numbers purchased after sign up will not have the same functionality. Learn more.
Choose Recipients
Choose which contact group(s) or individuals you’d like to receive the text message. You can also manually type additional or alternative recipient phone numbers separated by commas, in 10 digit format with no spaces or symbols (i.e. 6789313113).
Add a Company Name (Optional, but a Good Idea)
The first step is to add your company name. This is optional but it lets you tell your contacts what the message is about, or more importantly, who the message is from. When received on the user's phone, the Company Name appears in front of the incoming text message in parentheses.
Note: Remember that adding your Company Name does count against your total character count!
Write a Message
1. Type the body of the message to be sent.
2. Choose a Type of Message: SMS or MMS.
SMS messages are "traditional" text messages up to 160 characters without any additional images or video elements. They cost 1 credit to send.
MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. MMS messages allow for images, audio, and video files to be attached to text messages, generally up to 500kb of data. MMS messages cost 3 credits to send, but can have a higher impact.
SMS
MMS
Every paid EZ Texting account is automatically enabled for sending MMS messages. We also offer MMS image templates that you can download for free!
Note: If your message is longer than 160 characters (including spaces) or includes an image or media file, you will be prompted to send an MMS message instead of an SMS message.

Schedule Delivery and Send Your Message
Set the time to queue the text message for delivery. Or, if you want to send the text immediately, no need to change any settings! Just hit Send!
Now, let's take a quick look at Receiving and Replying to messages.
How to Receive Messages
You'll receive new messages in your EZ Texting Inbox, which is on the left-hand side of your app dashboard.
To View a message simply click on it.
You can then type your Reply in the message window.
