If you have a list of opted-in contacts, we can help you upload them. Not sure if they’re opted-in – read this quick guide to learn what that means.
There are two ways to add contacts – by uploading a spreadsheet or adding them one by one.
Adding contacts from a spreadsheet:
To start, navigate to "Contacts & Groups” option from the left navigation menu and select "Mass Upload Contacts" from at the top of the display table
Step 1: Browse for your contact file or drag your file into the page.

Step 2: Map Contact data to EZ Texting Fields
After you upload your contact list, use the dropdown menus to map the contact information to the appropriate fields within your EZ Texting account. Phone Number is the only required field. First Name, Last Name, Email address, and Notes are the other default options.
If you need additional data fields, you can create up to 5 custom fields. To do that, click the "Add New Contact Field” button at the bottom right or select "Add Contact Field" from the dropdown menus at the top of the columns.
After defining the field, click the "Create" button.
When your fields are mapped and created, click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page to move to the next step.
Adding contacts individually:
- Log in to your EZ Texting account.
- On the left nav, click on Contacts & Groups.
- Under Contacts, click on Add a Contact.
- Complete all the information, consider adding them to a group, then click Save.
