Sub Keywords allow you to setup custom responses for additional words following your keyword. They register when texted in the format of 'Keyword' 'Sub keyword' separated by a single space.
The main keyword must be included in the text along with the sub keyword. If someone texts in the sub keyword alone, the system will not add them to your account. For example, if your main keyword is COLOR and your sub keywords are blue or green, the contact would text in COLOR blue to the short code number on your account.
Setting up sub keywords is simple once you've already setup a keyword. Navigate to the Keywords & Numbers section in the left navigation menu. Click the plus symbol to expand the sub Keywords list.
Add Sub Keyword to create a new Sub Keyword.
Similarly to the main keyword, you can edit the auto-reply and attach it to separate contact groups. You can also edit the auto-reply.
Please note that sub keywords are not MMS enabled.
If you ever want to edit or delete a sub keyword all you have to do is click the plus symbol to reveal your list of sub keywords. Then to the right, you will see three horizontal dots that will allow you to delete the keyword or sub keyword.
